Impressive guest service. The Manager, A.J., set the tone for the staff by her example. She is first-rate, personable, and helpful. Dara, the Server, was attentive. Her information and recommendations were helpful. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Our party of four enjoyed the Meat and Cheese Plate, Wild Mushroom Flatbread, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Sesame-Marinated Swordfish, PEI Mussels, and Key Lime Pie. Every dish was flavorful and enjoyable. We can't speak highly enough of our enjoyable dining experience at FortyEight - Wine Bar & Kitchen. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasurable dining experience.

Despite it drizzling outside while we ate the chairs were dry and the umbrella kept us dry. Will return next time hopefully on a non rainy day.

I absolutely love this place. It offers wonderful food and wine, a warm atmosphere, and friendly service. There are 48 wine options, with self-serve dispensers for 1, 3, and 6 oz bottles. The scallops, swordfish, and crab cakes are delicious. The crab cakes are extremely fresh, with very little breading, just enough to hold them together. It's a nice, casual, yet elegant restaurant.

Very nice and extensive food menu to our surprise. And getting to build our own charcuterie board was fun. The wine stations were superb and if a bottle ran dry, the staff was quick to change it out. Excellent service and we were thankful for an outdoor table to enjoy the breeze. Thank you!

Worth checking out for date night. Great food and plenty of wine selection. Ordered pork schnitzel with fresh made wine gravy, mushroom rizoto and vegetable medley. And for appy we had baked brie. Everything was exceptional and not a bad price for the quality of the food. Nice interior and good service. Great place to dress up and take your significant other or someone special.

The food at 48 Wine Bar was amazing—seriously, I had gazpacho and chicken BBQ flatbread and my husband had spinach salad and the salmon. Everything was delicious and well prepared—the gazpacho was especially excellent, highly recommend it. We loved our waitress, Lena. Great place, thank you!

You must try the crab cakes. Ok so I spent over 35 years in Baltimore Maryland and we know crab cakes. These crab cakes were backfin with little filler and quite flavorful. Plus the sauce was an added bonus. I did not get a chance to taste my husband's grouper dish. Enough said. He really enjoyed it. Plus let me not forget to mention Dara and the great attentive service that she gave us. This is a place to visit. You need to make a reservation.
